Making DREAMS happen was our motivation to develop Permanent Supportive Housing for our graduates and their children. Housing costs even while working full time is not possible for most single moms. The idea of "reasonable" housing allows the woman and child safety and encouragement.

Celebrating 25th years of Thrift & Gift store at the Precious Life Shelter. The Thrift and Gift Shop currently provides approximately 38% of Precious Life's operational costs. Since 1989 over 3,000 women have been assisted and over 425 babies have been born at the Precious Life Shelter Volunteer hours just for the Thrift Shop are approximately 11,000 a year.

Reesie was looking to change her life and give life to her child that would be different from what she had known in her childhood. She was looking to make choices for change and she did.

Julia wanted to it to be different for her daughter, Gigi, and she was determined to make life changes. She came ready to help herself and work the Precious Life program and she succeeded.

In 1989 a mission and vision to help the woman with no place to birth her child was born in the home of Don and Theresa Sherrin. In those 20 years over 1800 women have been able to move toward changing their lives and that of their child.
