Best know for her work with the Precious Life Shelter in Los Alamitos, Theresa Murphy was recognized by Cypress College as the Los Alamitos/Rossmoor Citizen of the Year at the recent Americana Awards. The 38th Annual event was held at the Disneyland Hotel. Murphy is the Executive Director of the Precious Life Shelter, which offers housing and assistance to homeless pregnant women.
