Our Mission is to provide residential and supportive services for homeless, pregnant, adult women.
Precious Life Shelter, founded in 1989, was developed to meet an ever-growing need to provide shelter for pregnant women who are homeless. The program was designed to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of women preparing to meet the future challenges of supporting a family.
Our program includes career planning, life skills development, health and nutrition education, instruction in childbirth and parenting, and weekly case management Professional counseling and drug diversion and counseling are provided as needed. The goal of Precious Life Shelter is for each woman to regain stability and become self-reliant.
